Doing my usual Goodwill peruse the other day, I started to notice a trend. There were some wild pants going on in the store! Now I’m thinking timing might have something to do with it, because people do a large Goodwill drop off usually once or twice a year, and maybe there was a person or two who thought it might be time to share their unused pants. I found this very intriguing and thought I’d share with you some of the crazy cheap finds I found in leg wear.
First, and I can’t even explain the true wildness of these sparkly purple velvet pants. These definitely belong on a disco dance floor!
Talbot’s name certainly showed up two or three times. These purple flowered tropical pants belong in Hawaii. Who knew the classic women’s store could get so crazy?
Ok, I don’t know where these pants should be worn, I personally am NOT a fan of loud bright geometric patterns on pants. Some people are, but there might be a reason these pants were donated? I know, they could aid in a possible Halloween costume? Or maybe MC Hammer night at the bowling alley?
Here’s another Talbot’s design, which does remind me of a floral arrangement. These busy capris are perfect for a….graduation or BBQ? You will sure attract the eyes!
Or how about this wild pair of pants? Now, I’m thinking botanical gardens?
Black and white, white and black, this busy pair would go great with solid colors and to a…. 20th year high school reunion?
Pink and white is sweet, and the call of the tropics is the name of the game for this pair.
I thought it was so interesting to see what designers have created, thinking their design would attract eyes and create the perfect outfit. I’m aware Talbots does design with a more mature woman in mind. These pants beg to differ on maturity, being wild and crazy, definitely keep youth in the heart.
