This is the before photo, now put on your “Goodwill Glasses” ah much better!
Did you know that you could buy a cashmere sweater for a baby? Me either. Oh by the way, it will set you back $238.00. To be honest I don’t think I have ever used the words baby and cashmere in the same sentence. You could go out and buy a cashmere baby gift at a fancy baby store, or you can pick one up at Goodwill for under $5.00. That leads me to my next question, can you gift an item of thrift? You bet your sweet baby you can! Now let’s all assume that your friends and family know that you are quite the thrift connoisseur, and that you can launder appropriately. I know the people that would love it and others who would not. So save your money and use Goodwill as your opportunity to give a lavish gift on a practical budget!

I am a huge fan of Goodwill because of their good works. As a charity, they have a small believable operating budget, unlike many other charities. I shop Gooldwill weekly and am amazed at the new/nearly new products I find. A “new-in-the-box” Bodum cordless kettle (value $79) was $6, a real leather vest, NEW, from Nordstrom ($149 value) $3, new Gloria Vanderbilt jeans $3.99, a new in-the-box 1947 vintage popcorn popper with manual valued on eBay at $75 was $2…………on and on. When I am finished with the item, I donate them back to Goodwill. Boulder CO is re-cycle town and proud of it! Goodwill needs cash to carry on their mission. YOU need their need their stuff. RECYCLE and help Goodwill.
