Goodwill takes you to Downton Abbey

I feel like my job is to change peoples perception of shopping at Goodwill. The perception is that Goodwill is full of cast offs that no one wants. That could not be further from reality. When I tell people that I work for Goodwill they always say, “Oh, I give great stuff to Goodwill!”. We have so many great families that donate items for an infinite number of reasons. Whatever the reason, the items are amazing, but you do have to look.
I hope that you will take the opportunity to go to Goodwill and take a look for yourself. Your home is your castle, and we would like to help you create it. My next video is how I took tarnished group of silver and created a beautiful tea service from generously donated Goodwill “cast-offs”.

Here is the cast of characters, I play Carson, and the Mighty Casey plays Isis, the Goodwill items play themselves. Enjoy.

  2. What a great idea. I have always support Goodwill in my community, both donating and purchasing. I host a Tea Tuesdays segment on my blog about the food of Downton Abbey. Good Will is a great way for those who don’t have inherited pieces to acquire items for a grand tea service. i will be sure to include this clip next week. Love your dog, by the way!!
