Good thing Goodwill has air conditioning because it is hooooot out there! I can’t guarantee that Goodwill has fans in every store, but it is worth taking a look. I ran this post about a year ago but it bears repeating!!
So if you need a fan, just drag your happy self over to the G-Dub and hit the Home Depot on your way home.
*Thrifting Tip* When you are buying any sort of electronic device from Goodwill,
plug it in there and make sure it works.
Get out your adorable vintage pail, soap and some hot water and wash her right up. Do I need to tell you that you can’t wash anything with electrical stuff in it… I didn’t think so, you are only washing the fan parts that you have REMOVED from the fan!
This fan project started out as Brushed Nickle, and then moved on to Oil Rubbed Bronze, a girl is entitled to change her mind!
If you’re smarter than me, you’ll number the items so you know where they go. Personally, I like the fly by the seat of my pants approach –so I can freak out later. That’s just me, you do what works for you.
Tape this part off, I wish we could paint over it, but then how would you know what buttons you are pushing? Ponder that….
