One of the fun things about shopping at Goodwill is finding different monograms. I love wearing and collecting all things monogrammed.  To me a monogram has history intrinsically attached to it.  It may not be my history, but a story is a story.   Typography is so interesting and beautiful, why not enjoy it for what it is and not who it may have represented. Do you have to have your own monogram? Expand your horizons and enjoy the letters whether they belong to you or you are just borrowing them for the time being.
