DIY Hand Sanitizer

When you do a lot of shopping hand sanitizer is your best friend.  I like the spray kind better than the gel so I made my own.  I used 90% Witch Hazel, 5% Rubbing Alcohol, 5% Distilled Water, and a capful of Peppermint Extract.  You could use Peppermint Oil, but it didn’t smell as nice as Peppermint extract.   You will only need about 5 drops of essential oil.   These measurements aren’t precise, and basically you could use any scent you like.  We experimented with Lemon Oil as well.  Just use what smells good to you.

I carry a small spritzer in my thrifting bag and spray it on as I go!  I love it!

Save some money, and control what goes on your skin!
